  1. Alright, this will be my last update on this thread. I will create a new thread for v2. I have decided to order myself a 300mm x 600mm 2mm sheet, same size as my current light, but it's a single piece, reducing the amount of heat transfer paste needed, better heat distribion, and due to less rivits needed, will result in better aesthetics. Sheet was under R300, so cost is about the same as buying alu strips, but much less work for about the same price. Overall, light performance is good, so will be building 4 more over the next few months, replacing all my existing makeshift designs. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  2. Creating this thread to showcase the rest of the ladies in my growbox during the 2019 Indoor Growoffs. We can only track one of the Chocolope x NorthernLights F4 gen, so I will keep track of the other ChocoNL (number 3) here, alongside my 2 x BlueberryKush F2 gen plants. The Chocolopes have the prime spot under the hps and the BlueberryKush plants are directly under the cfl, but get quite a bit of ambient light from the hps. Day 1 Flowering - Week 1

  3. PHello Canna Fam. Here looking for advice, 1st time indoor grower. Have experience with outdoors. I want to set up a grow room that is 2m by 2m. With about 6 to 8 plants in there or can I put more. Not too small. The question is , how much do I need? Looking at buying HPS 600W. Would one cover for all stages of growing? Also I want to feed organically? What experience has those who have tried it, gotten? How does one generate CO2 ,cheaply?

  4. Move the plant to a different area in the tent, further away from the fan and airflow and give it a few days. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  5. Perhaps too much airflow going past the one plant? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  8. Day 8 Flowering - Week 2 The Chocolopes have been very well behaved and creating a beautiful canopy under the hps, I can't really say the same for the BlueberryKush's, they have been stretching and making their massive leaves to try and catch as much light as they can. I managed to snap a few branches of the BlueberryKush while training them this week, usually the worst time to train is when lights go on and when you have not watered in a while. Best time to train is after a watering in my opinion, but in this case the 2 snapped branches helped me tame the girls a little bit. They are trying to show off to the Choco's I think. Here are a few update pics, I will try take more closeup shots when I get some pompoms going. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, working on it. Peace and love stay green yall! Topview of the garden. The great divide, BlueberryK to the top, Chocos to the bottom. BlueberryKush's being bit overkill on those fan leaves, happy plants though.

  12. Extremely happy with the outcome. Total cost was perhaps closer to R1100 than the original estimate, but size is perfect for my 1200 x 700 veg tent. Frame Temps relatively low, running 4 x fans (2 x 12v & 2 x 220v). Definately not my last build... @Totemic, I'll let your Chocolopes be have the final say on light quality :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  13. Here we go, cobs in place, but still needs to be mounted. Had to dismantle my first prototype, using the COBs on this newly made cooler. Wattage upped to 750w with the addition of 220v 50w cob. Breakdown as folkows: 4 x 100w 220v 5 x 50w 12v 2 x 50w 220v Ive left enough space between the back fins to add more if needed, but hopefully the current fins will be enough. That's it for the morning, will probably finish it off this evening. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  14. Btw, for those looking to avoid my missteps, from what I can gather online, this is what a plant looks like when you overwater and overheat a younger plant. A sort of blistered leaf appearance. They also feel a little plasticky.

  15. Hehe, I got the measurements from a YouTube channel, 'from seed to stoned' iirc, which uses the Yankee measurement system. I just googled the conversion to liters. The Lucas Formula just drops the Gro. GHE tri-pack Flora. 1 Gallon = 3.785 Liters 1/2 = 1.8925 Week 2-4: Micro 2.5ml / 1.25 Gro 2.5ml / 1.25 Bloom 1ml / 0.5ml Week 5-6: Micro 2ml / 1ml Gro 1ml / 0.5ml Bloom 2ml / 1ml Week 7-8: Micro 2ml / 1ml Gro .5ml / 0.25ml Bloom 2ml / 1ml Week 9-10: Micro 2ml / 1ml Bloom 4ml / 2ml

  16. Did my first nutrient feed last week, toned it down since then by half. 0.5ml Micro / 1ml Bloom per 1.875L (half gallon)

  17. I would recommend a good microbes mix inoculation 2-4times during your grow and then just feed the microbes. Compost and sprouted seed teas with some molasses. Silica and amino acids. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  18. It will be a struggle with that light to grow in such a big area. You could get away with that light in a 1.2x1.5m area. You could still grow your 8 plants just grow them smaller. What type of CO2 do you want to supplement with? Propane burner, tank with regulator or just a simple chemical reaction. CO2 needs a sealed grow room. Are you mixing your own organic soil or are you buying a premix? The are lots of organic nutes availible. Biobizz is probably the most well known and easiest to use.
