  1. Morning okes. Small update on the auto run. Zkittlez and CBD Crack came down, dried for 8 days, then I spotted some budrot. I immediately set off to trimming. Zkittlez, 25.10g dry bud lost from the main cola. (108.63 total dry) CBD Crack, 5.7g dry bud lost from the main cola. (65.85 total dry) Needless to say I'm pretty bummed about that. The Gorilla Glue is still going and is fatter than the other two. I'm hoping she won't have rot. CBD Crack bud (7.5g) Gorilla Glue Main cola Side cola

  3. Standard photo periods need down time for respiration, auto's have however adapted to climates were there is an abundance of light, a stable auto can grow under 24/0, the question really boils down to whether its worth the extended energy bill. In all honesty its very unlikely you will see a difference between the two.

  4. I know many people who veg under 24/0, personally I don't because I've yet to see any meaningful speed growth. Allowing the plants some down time is also good. Personally I do 18 /6 have for many years and don't plan to switch.

  7. So I chopped the CBD Crack and Zkittlez on Saturday morning. I just removed the biggest leaves and hung them up to dry. Hopefully I won't run into issues coz my humidity is kak high and my temps are below 20. Here are a few pics of my bitches. Zkittlez CBD Crack (top) and Zkittlez Handfulla Crack

  8. Heya! So as the title states, this is just another first grow. I'm sure you've all seen many of them. Lets start with some equipment and what I'll be growing and take it from there, obviously open to suggestions as I'm still learning. I don't have a grow tent unfortunately, growing in a storage room of sorts which I've painted flat white. Grow area is approx 110cm x 90cm at a push. I have 4x 288 Quantum Boards in 3000k setup in here, currently running 2 off an ELG-240-54A while I wait for my HLG-480-54A. No extraction or air intake at the moment. Trying to seal up and prevent light leaks and shall be trying to complete this tomorrow. Currently lights are off at night to prevent light leak issues. I have my humidity dome in here too and have a heating pad underneath it as it's very cold. I have added a heater to the grow area today and it seems to be making a decent difference in terms of temps, increased from 17C to 23C. I have a fan inside to circulate the air. RH is on the low side at 36-40% RH so might look at adding my humidifier into the area, not sure how to control the RH with it just yet as I don't have any electronics to assist at the moment. I'm using Freedom Farms soil, Biobizz nutes (fish mix & bloom) & have a mixture of pots but plan on using 20L fabric pots in the end. Currently have 2 bagseed seedlings in there with 13 seeds germinating as per the below: 3x Chocolope (Totemic Genetics) 3x Bruce Banner 3 (Dark Star Genetics) 3x Grandpa Banner (Dark Star Genetics) 3x Sticky Icky (Dark Star Genetics) 1x CBD Critical Mass (Seedsman) All are regular seeds except for the CBD strain which is feminised. I'm hoping not all 12 seeds are female as I don't have space, however I'd like at least 1 female from each. One of my bag seed seedlings might not make it, still busy monitoring it. Before my lights arrived I had to put them outside for some natural sun and my cat seems to really like the FF soil and dug up the seedling, twice. Prior to that she dug up my 3rd seedling and peed in that pot, the seedling died... Not sure if I can just flush the soil with water and reuse it? The stem of the dug up seedling is very thin in one area but still seems to be alive so hopefully it pulls through. Not much in terms of pics at the moment as I've been busy putting my room together and am still busy with that. Although here are the seeds in some rapid rooters and in the humidity dome. I broke off a piece of the rapid rooter and put it inside the hole to try keep the seeds dark and covered. The seeds were soaked for around 22 hours before being placed into the rapid rooters with the exception of the cbd strain which was soaked for closer to 28 hours and was only put into the rapid rooter today. So it's a day behind the rest. Really hoping the seeds germinate in the rapid rooters without issues. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  9. I've got a little jungle going for my personal grow, about 4 weeks into flower. It's all drip fed on a timer, at about 1.2 EC, and 6.4 pH. Been away and haven't trained it at all, except for a few supercroppings before going away. Aurora Indica, GG#4, and "Bob Marley", under 180W of 4000K QBs. I'd like to up the lighting now, for the second half of flowering. Wondering how crazy to go with defoliation, and whether it might be a better idea to skip defoliation on the lower branches and instead add side lighting around the perimeter? Or, defoliate AND side light? Anyone have experience with side lighting? I've only done it in bucket grows. Not sure of the value of light hitting underside of leaves, and whether red would be best, or white. And defoliation, still a good idea at week 4 of flower? Thanks

  10. Lol... Indoor has too many chemicals. Sound like the same type of people that class hydro and chronic as strains Sent from my ANE-LX2 using Tapatalk

  12. I think it's the strong ff soil that is causing the leaf curl. Just keep feeding ph water they will be strong enough soon

  13. Took a little tester last night I'm happy with the result. Also 3 Jackberry's and a jillybean for the next round the one jackberry has nitrogen toxicity I think but she will soon be strong enough only feeding ph water

  14. I'm using Freedom Farms premium soil. Organic is better. Tastier flowers, no need to worry about pH. Feed the soil, not the plant. LOL, i only read what's on this site bruv. Just remember, happy microbes is what you're going for.

  15. Thanks bruv, in all honesty, this is my 1st grow that's this fat and bulky. I think it's the light TBH. So the BioBizz feed happens at every watering. I stick to the standard schedule until about half way through veg then i ramp it up until i notice slight signs of possible burn, then drop the strength a little. EM I do at 1st pot up, then every 2-3 weeks. On those days I don't do nutes. Just EM and whatever additives are required like amino's, sylica, etc. I will be halving my nute input on the next grow and do more AACT. I'll be using the EM in that and also looking at other teas.

  17. Yep that is kinda the reason why I did not switch due to grid stability. If I'm still in the country next year I'll be looking at going off the grid entirely.

  18. No idea you'd need to trial it and see, I was planning to switch to RDWC later this year. But it's a lot of effort.

  19. I got myself one of the ceramic heaters for a lizard terrarium. Someone here recommend it. It is awesome my plants love it. And running the 100w heater for 6 hours will save you money in the long run. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  20. That is pretty cool, there is water inside so it can be filtered and cooled a bit too. Although isn't this in the wrong section, not really news? I am a vape guy, vape all the way... Dab on occasion and bong on a very rare occasion.
