  1. Howzit good people. CDCSA does not issue licenses, you register with them, registration is R1500/jear. Gets you access to their network basically and legal representation. They do include commercial applications in their docs which I don't feel comfortable filling out as they want ALL your details and info. Export licenses are a completely different ballgame. Licences are issued via the MCC, Mendicines Council of SA. The amount of paperwork and fees are quite astronomical. Estimates I researched are between 3 to 5 bar(six zero's) According to the articles below it seems they are not quite playing fair, I don't think it's as easy as they say - talk is cheap. Google is your friend here -use it. https://thehighco.co.za/south-africas-secret-legal-medical-cannabis-farm/ https://www.2oceansvibe.com/2017/06/27/sa-has-its-very-own-secret-government-funded-cannabis-farm/ https://thehighco.co.za/how-to-get-a-cannabis-grow-license-in-south-africa/ Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk

  3. Interesting post about this topic: https://fieldsofgreenforall.org.za/do-you-still-want-a-license-to-grow-cannabis/ Could you please provide info on these people allowed to export? I haven’t heard about this.

  4. You can start with the CDCSA. Also research the MCC/SAHPRA requirements. If you need a pharmacist drop me a pm. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  5. If it was me I would not lower the light within the first 2-3 weeks. Let them grow out a bit. If the do stretch lower the light. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  6. So I bought a H&M PH80 from Futurama and got it in less than 48hrs. The unit died after just more than 6 months. I mailed them asked if it's under warranty, they sent a courier to collect and after checking with the agents a new unit shipped today. It took about 3 weeks not due to their delay due to the agents. They found corrosion in the batteries. So good work from them I will gladly use Futurama in future

  7. Hi all What would the process be in obtaining or requesting for a growers license. Like this license that was granted to the SA firm to export to Canada? I havent a clue and dont know where to start looking.

  9. If you read further into the application.... no employee may smoke cannabis, no criminal records. Regular drug tests must be conducted.... Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk

  12. Awesome @Doug , I must say the Sativa flowering times are getting super fast, 60 - 75 days flowering, I see Leafly has it listed as a pure sativa. Must have some indica in it though from the Skunk #1 i think. This review of Lemon Pie on Leafly. Lol "This is good stuff. Lately my tolerance has been through the roof but this one had me feeling exremely happy and incredibly horny. Slight citrus flavor with some sweetness but it's kinda tough to nail down. It'd be wonderful if this one stayed around here for a while because I'd definitely buy it again when I run out which looks like that'll be real soon because this is really good."

  15. Hi Guys On my previous grow I planted two seeds, both DP - Strawberry Cough. Both germinated at the same time. From here on one plant was perfect, no major issues. The other one was 'sickly' from the start. Both plants had exactly the same treatment up to harvest. The run off PH was steady at 6.6 - 6.8 Since they are already harvested, it's no use trying to fix it, but I'm interested to see what you guys think. Healthy one: Sickly one: I have more photos as they grow if you are interested

  18. I have not smoked the sick one yet, I might do so tonight to check. But the aroma difference between them is really pronounced. The healthy ones smells really sweet and strong, where the sick one smells more like leaves. https://i.imgur.com/DYXRxzN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KPYaYiN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OFBY1k3.jpg https://i.imgur.com/djU9aDo.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1YnzBRi.jpg

  19. Weekly update nr 1: I think everything is looking good but let me know if it isn’t Three Blue Kings (TBK) sprouted on Sunday morning so that’s three days after being planted in the Jiffy pellet. Monday morning I noticed a root poking out the bottom (this stuff grows FAST). Initially I wanted to keep it in the Jiffy pellet for a bit to let it air prune the roots (read up on Elliot Coleman and soil blocks if you think I’m crazy) but decided against it. This is my first grow and I’d rather keep it simple. I filled my first pot with Freedom Farms soil and watered it with a very simple AACT (homemade wormcastings, homemade fungal dominated compost and blackstrap molasses brewed for 24h). I let it stand for the day and planted the Jiffy pellet with a teaspoon of Micoroot on Monday evening. Watered in with bubbled water and haven’t watered since. Exact same process with the Amherst Sour Diesel but everything just happened one day later. Plants are currently sitting under 600w HPS (I’ve decided against MH for now due to budget constraints, I know it’s not optimal but it’ll have to do) on an 18/6 schedule. Light is literally as high up as it can go at the moment (about 1.5m from plants). Question: 1. At what point can I lower the light? Is it necessary to lower the light at all? TBK on the left, ASD on the right.

  20. So it's another 2am garden session for me. I just love it. Looking at my girls flourishing ans enjoying the fresh smells they're already giving off, it's hard to imagine how they looked like just a few days ago. The first photo is of May 12th, 10 days ago I thought they're pretty bushy. The second photo is of me taking trimming scissors to them. The last 4 photos is of them this morning. Freshly received a feed after showing a slight droop in some of them. The plan is to clean the big tent today and have the flowering girls in their new home before 6pm. For now I'll be running the Gavita on the lowly 400w setting from 18:00 to 12:00. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  21. Received my order today, the glass nectar collector was very nicely packaged and arrived 100% in tact. The glassware is very nice, excellent quality and craftsmanship. I made a mistake with my order, but the support team answered and assisted me very quickly. Very happy with my purchase. Recommended. Stay Lit 420SA!

  22. Thanks for the offer dank - might take you up on it. I can get some clones of some good genetics, so maybe I will start with those for first grow and see how they go

  24. Why he got it is a long story but when I was in about standard 4 (95-96’ish) my dad got a non-runner from my uncle. We towed it to our house, parked it and then nothing happened. St 8 I told my dad I want the Mini. He said sure, but you’re going to have to fix it yourself and he bought me a Haynes Workshop Manual. I spent my St8 and St9 school holidays completely rebuilding it. Had it until 2008... I sometimes drove it, most of the time I was fixing it I didn’t have space for it at my place since I had to buy a “more reliable” (read: less fun) car for work so it stayed at my parents place until they moved and I, very reluctantly, had to sell it. I miss my Mini. There’s a Mini Workshop in Benoni who specializes in 16v conversions and there’s a guy around here who has a Mazda Rotary engine Mini (Mazda RX8 engine). That’s just lunacy.

  25. Before spending money on seeds or growing expensive genes. Drop a few bag seeds and experiment and read and test the hell out of your settup.. It's far more fun and you do not have to stress about buggering up.. Enjoy it.. My

  28. All dried and ready for the cure. Both plants delivered in excess of 750g each. It has been a pleasure to bring you that are following this log. It is still frightening at times to post to a practically public platform a tiny piece of my passion for plants. I have however realised that as much as this log has been incriminating, it has also been an example of how benign it is to grow cannabis. None of my neighbors bled or died as a result of my plants. I breed pepper plants too and spend more time with them than any other species. The point is. Here it is...the seeds went into soak on the day the Constitutional Court made the verdict, and an entire baby later, yes almost 6 months of veg and just over 3 months of flower, I am consuming my own non criminal cannabis, and this log is proof of where my Cannabis has come from. Start a grow log. Not entirely for our benefit but for your own. This revolution has long gained traction but having a log like this one is powerful, factual evidence that you are growing your own Cannabis and you can fully account since seed/clone. But really...we have had to live in the dark with this forever...Let's show them how we do it like the productive normal people we are. To put costs of this grow into perspective. I spent a total of R200 on fertilizer. My soil mix cost me R400. Water was R30 x 9 months, so R180. For a total of under a grand spent, that works out to about R1 to R1,50 a gram. This changes everything. This improves my life. This, well this! That gives myself and my wife 2g a day until I can grow and harvest again 12 months from now.
