  1. Ever since I watched the CNN doccies by Sanjay Gupta, I've been wondering 3 basic things: Where the hell can I get that strain? Is there any other strains that are so high in cbd and so low in thc? Why can't I find like a directory telling you where to get what strains? Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  2. Defo on the seeds... Was wondering that the other day.... Like why is all the seeds we can get anywhere always imported if it's good and dirt bag seed when you try getting local... They say local is lekker, but they probably don't do weed... Why isn't there ever any news of like really lekker local strains, I mean come on, it's like even if you want to get Durban poison you need to get it from overseas, how crazy is that [End rant] Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  3. Just saw this review of a Lotolabs induction dab rig called Legend Has anyone heard of this type of dabbing before? Okay, so I think this guy gets confused over the whole convection vs combustion issue, but aside from that, has anyone heard of other vaporizers that also uses induction heating or is this just new to me? 4. This is a bit long... TL,DR I skimmed the first couple of posts, and just feel so irked... this is exactly why dagga needs to be not just decriminalized, but actually legalized and regulated. We as the consumer need to have some kind of recourse and these types of bozos needs to be brought to book. I also got sick after smoking some very mouldy weed, kept me in a sickingly bad high for a week. But that's it hey, we need to educate and we need to conduct business in an ethical and sustainable manner, this types of stuff just drives people away from dagga. Hopefully one day we can see a legal industry take shape, but for now, that's what you get for going onto the black market, because there is no legal market for bud yet peeps, remember that hey Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  5. The popular dagga ETF, MJ has traded itself past the Billion dollar mark. ETFs of course are great alternatives to unit trusts, but since they are passively managed, they're not the kind of products your broker necessarily want to promote, because they make less money from it. It's a great way to build a diversified portfolio, especially when using it in TFSAs (for local etfs, I'm not sure what the implications for international etfs are for your tfsa) Anyway, read the article here https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190206005383/en/MJ-–-ETFMG-Alternative-Harvest-ETF-Surpasses Also, if you'd like to get in on DIY investing with ETFs in a TFSA for example, go to easyequities website, https://www.easyequities.co.za You'll find this ETF on there as well under the US investment options. 7. Well at least your dog didn't destroy everything..... I have a greyhound almost 1 yr old, it first got into the locked parking bay when I forgot to lock the side gate, he chewed my plant, so I moved it out on top of those cube water tanks, got home today to see he got to everything there as well.... I lost over R2000 and Im chucking the freedom farm soil away too, so got to count that too, guess I'm done growing, thinking I'm done with my dog too, anyone looking for a dog for Christmas? He kinda keeps you on your toes :) Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  8. I'll definitely use the coke bottle/cake dome technique next time, think I do have the dina clone powder, did buy that powder from builders and that's what I use, it's the one for soft wood cuttings. I also add a bit of ph down to my water, using rain water from the tank and that's pretty much neutral, using the ph testing kit with the color chart you compare the liquid drops you shake in a small tester But I'm here to learn, so thank you guys, I'll definitely take the advice up and try to follow these techniques... 9. Wow, thanks for all the tips guys! Yeah, the seedling was on my bookshelf before I took it outside, the clone cuttings I did get from the main branch, my attempt at topping my only successful plant so it grows more side branches, the clones I kept in rockwool also on the shelf with a bowl of water, only bought a little spray bottle yesterday when I found out they kinda get their water from the little bit of leaf they got. My other seedlings cooked out on the sink roof of my gas bottle cage. I do use freedom soil and biogrow fish emulsion though.... My plants got moved behind the gate out of direct sunlight under the parking bay.... It's kinda the only place I have for them as my dog will destroy it in the backyard and my front yard is kinda open.... So yeah, I don't have the perfect setup to work with, but I'm trying to make do with the options I have..... Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  10. So, I stareted a grow diary in September with my very first seed, the one that's actually been making it, but I've also lost about 10 seedlings from seed and my latest one is stretching, so I planted it out, the clones I took all died and these clones looks to be on their way out too... 11. I also want to use the egg carton for the seed.... guess it's a bad move? But I kinda have a suspicion it's the bone meal.....that shit should be way to strong for a seedling, but I'm also doing my first grow, guess we just have to bump our heads and hope we learn from it...... 12. It's no biggie, you can easily register a NPO, NPC and other forms of NGOs, I just think getting a dagga club will be a bit hard to register as a PBO though, although I think that Fields of Green for example would qualify as a good potential case for one. You can register a NPC on the CIPC website easily enough for one Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  13. Is there no way around Capemail? Can't you courier it, like someone said about ebay working with aramex? There nothing of the sort with some of the bigger seedbanks? Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
  14. I also heard that seagro fish emulsion by Efekto works wonderfully Sent from my ALE-L02 using Tapatalk
