  1. I took a quick look over the gemmacert website, it looks like it follows the same route as most these hand held analyzers, uses a database to compare similarities, doesn't test specific product, the problem arises when samples are off of the expected norm, such as a landrace, creates a higher potential for error
  2. You can reveg the flowers that you like by keeping them on the plant and treating like a veg plant, should take a month or so. In terms of variability, there are some offering more stable lines, look for F3 or F4 and up, F9 starts getting to what they refer to as an IBL which should be true to type if grown from seed
  3. I would agree with most of what has been said, a good breeder should look at the bigger picture, not just breed for looks but also disease resistance, vigour, not bottleneck genes entirely and put a healthy genetics representation onto the market place that offers some stability of the intended genes he or she wanted to develop. I wouldn't include Matt Riot of riot seeds in that personally, as i don't consider what he does seed breeding, but that might just be me, and i always questions those who appoint themselves as genetic authorities rather than earn that spot. There are so many amazing breeders out there currently, look for those who seem to pass off the image and message that you would like to portray, look for realistic pricing, and well develop seed lines with a high occurrence of high quality offspring. If you are looking for a certain gene do you homework and see who has the closest to the source, if looking for Triangle Kush or the white then swamp boys, if looking for a wide array of elite clone hybrids then Archive or CSI humboldt These include for me, amongst many others Bodhi seeds Archive Bloom Seed co CSI humboldt Relentless genetics Symbiotic Thugpug Swamp boys Eskobar seeds Karma genetics and many many more, but be careful, its a seed business and some people just want you hard earned cash
  4. Chiquita banana sounds interesting, what do you know about that one? @PsyCLown
  5. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, there are multiple strains that can contend and even out perform Charlotte's Web, it was perhaps the most marketed of the bunch and hence received more coverage. There are multiple varieties in seed form using the Charlotte's Web as one of the parents, as well as many other high CBD strains available. I can direct you to breeders who I am grown from and can vouch for their other work if that helps. But unfortunately Charlotte's Web is highly unlikely to make the trip across the pond via postal systems as it is a clone only strain.
  6. OG kush of unknown origin. Day 65 of 70 days flower. Smells of gassy, fuely funk
  7. ok great, should be a good source of light, do you mind if i ask what you paid for those bad boys?
  8. lights look interesting, what are the specs on those if you don't mind me asking?
  9. There are a few options for led light sources, some local to South Africa others not, all components are manufactured in other countries depending on where you source. Even hlg uses diodes produced in Asian factories. They have recently invested in a machine which solders to their pcb’s in the USA so they can claim manafactured in the USA, however the machine which does the soldering I speculate has Asian origins as well. I currently am employed as a grower at a legal grow operation harvesting what equates to 15 kilos of premium indoor per week. And we incorporate hid and led lighting. Each has advantages put my personal grows will all be led from now on.
  10. Did some internet research on the frozen material, they call it live rosin, plant frozen , then extracted using bubble hash method, so excuse my ignorance @_DANNY_H_ here s link to some dude producing it, looks pretty damn nice to me! am i allowed to post links, if not please delete https://www.instagram.com/madhat420/?hl=en the colour and consistency looks mind blowing
  11. Yep, i mix my own, usually based upon 1/3 water retaining, 1/3 water draining, 1/3 nutrient containing, but this will vary upon what is around me, and the more ingredients the better, as long as they vary
  12. well i guess it depends, from a growers perspective i like to know the parentage roughly , and then apply some of this to how i grow them. For instance, i usually expect much more stretch from a sativa, and i can compensate for it when i am growing. in terms of effects, one can draw general conclusions in terms of content, and ratios of THC/CBD from the plants background as well. but at the end of the day, enjoy what you enjoy!
  13. thanks, i only apply love, and organic fertiliser!
  14. nepali x the white- freebie
