I have a shitty pH meter I got from the local nursery, so that'll have to do until I have bucks for a decent pH pen. cheese420 Posted February 22, 2016 Share Posted February 22, 2016 Hmm...I have that test kit and the pH down and up. I am not such a fan of the test kit in all honesty. When using the pH down/up you only need a drop to bring down the pH quite a lot, its potent stuff. It helps to fill a 500ml bottle with one drop and then add that to your nutrient mix to bring the level up or down in smaller increments. You will never get an accurate reading with that, and with Hydro your best friend is keeping your pH in check.. I've seen some of the best bud from guys who are anal about the pH..
