My first indoor grow

Recommended Posts

Hi @Jrmiehazefvr

I'm also a newbie here, but perhaps giving some more detail will assist people in helping you further

 E.g.

  • Do you have photos of the plants?
  • What led grow light?
  • How far is it from the plants?
  • Pics of your setup?
  • How often do you water?
  • How old were the plants?
  • What does "keep dying" mean? Has this happened before? At the same stage?
  • Any chance you have an idea of the temperature grow room/area?
  • Bag seeds / from a seedbank? Auto/feminised etc?

Hope that helps and good luck

Hello growers hope everything is going well
I’m experiencing some problems with my plants
I’m using palm peat as medium
and water . A led growing light
but I don’t know what I am doing wrong and my plants keep dying
can you help me please?
What LED are you using?

Are you only using palm/coco peat? I would recommend using vermicompost, peat and perlite in a 1:1:1 ratio. If you are only going to feed water you will have to pH your water to 5.8. Peat also contains no nutrients. Vermicompost does so you can feed wate for some time. Are you going organic or hydro? If you are going organic use sodium bicarb and lemon juice you pH up and down. I suggest doing an organic grow the first time round. It is more forgiving. Also invest in some soil. Organics matter has a craft soil and freedom farms has one. Welcome to the forum.

  • 1 month later...

Same thing happened to some of my plants too. But the majority was fine.

I assume i messed up something there,

maybe over feeding/watering

soil ph could be off

i have since dbled up on lights and lowered closer to the plants.

I use cfl lights 90lumen/w

6000k

i use 4 different nutz, but only today started to ph it to 5.5-6.0 before applying.

im giving them a few more days to see if they improve
