Question

I'm actually trolling through all the forum topics in search of one that touches on hard water. I use borehole water with an EC of 0.7. The water consists mostly of calcium and magnesium. I used to use powder feed but due to to being hard to get my hands on I have moved onto the horti 3 part nutrients. A part B and mpk.

Would like to read up and hear other people opinions on how I should adjust my feeding schedule to compensate for the already high levels of calcium in the water.

I have spoken to the guys in Cape town and Johannesburg regarding this but they didn't quite understand what I was asking. I have e found a topic in it before in 420sa but can't seem to locate it again.

The schedule for veg using the hortimix nutrient recommends using equal parts A and B. Should i use less of part b(calcium nitrate) because i have calcium in water already?

Thanks in advance for your help
