  1. Outside plants looking nice and frosty, much like our weather at the moment. I may do this more often, veg indoors then finish up outside. Maybe do some Indica's next, they're generally better in the cold. Indoors not doing badly, despite clawing. Needing to tie a couple up to prevent falling over. Next time I'm going to get/use a net and actually spend some time shaping the canopy. Looking at between 8 and 10 weeks flowering time, which means they'll start coming down round end of month.
  2. @Naughty.Psychonaut, yea probably right, but it's only some of them, and not much I can do about ot now. It might be the medium, or the fact I use same feeding throughout veg and flower. The crystal's are looking good though, and no signs of PM, which is my main goal for this one. I'll add a couple of blocks of coco to the substrate for next grow, and maybe just use the greenhouse powder on veg. Need to try some of the 'flower power' nutes now available.
  3. Some pics from outside plants. Doing even better despite the masses of rain we've been getting. One has outgrown it's container, so keeps falling over. I'll need to stake it, or repot, although reluctant to mess with it at this point.
  4. All good in the tent, flowers coming along nicely. Feeding at 1l 2ec twice a week or so. Weekly foliar with diluted neem. Humidity is theoretically at 50, but our late rain is spiking that. Lots of airflow.
  5. The plants outside are doing really well. Way too much rain at the moment, but I am feeding them twice weekly to keep their strength up.
  6. Lubly Jubly. (also, recently added 'cannabis cultivation' as a skill on my Linked-In profile, dreams...)
  7. 3 of the 'under-performers' get to go outside for the duration. I will still be watering/feeding them, so no abandonment issues. That leaves 5 in the tent. Still a bit cramped, but I'll be watching closely and applying ongoing foliar neeming... The tent is now in flowering mode, so lights on from 13h00 to 1h00.
  8. All good, just given them a spritz of antifungal. I use a very weak solution of water and pre-emulsified neem oil. Seems to be working, along with humidity control. I will be switching over to flowering this weekend as most plants have already topped half way. There won't be enough room for them all, so I'll be moving some to the veg tent, or just leave them outside for some natural flowering. I'm not taking any clones, or even topping/fimming/stressing etc. This because a) I'm lazy b) in a hurry for some buds c) have been so impressed with the purchased clones, I'll probably just do a different strain of those for next grow.
  9. Load shedding in the middle of the day... Good time to do some cleaning. I do love the new white tent, but the base is a bugger to keep clean. Luckily it's removable. All good. Note; despite using autopots and autopot trays, I'm not using their irrigation system, preferring to water by hand every 2nd day. I've had enough floods that I'm wary of automatic irrigation. View through the 'green' window in the tent. Don't really see the point.
  10. All good, growing like weeds...
  11. Plants looking good. Temperature not bad considering time of year. Humidity is quite low at the moment, but I am taking enough water out the air to support all the plants since I got the dehumidifier. It's set to keep below 60, down to 50 for flowering. I'm determined to not even start PM this time. I'll start a bi-monthly application of diluted neem oil foliar spray shortly.
  12. Yup, although In my defense I did buy them a while ago, when GHT was mostly the goto in SA, and you got what they had. I'll definitely be looking at the 'new' quantum boards for next upgrade. Any recommendations would be more than welcome.
  13. Lights: 2 x Nova LED S8 360w (from GTHydro) Home made LED T5 Bank with LED tubes. 600w Dual-Arc (HPS+MH) I had 2 x 600w's running, but 1 transformer blew, and I'll be upgrading everything to LED anyway, as soon as I've got the readies.
  14. Finally got round to re-potting all the plants. As indicated by root circling, could have probably done so a bit sooner. Next time I get clones I'll put them straight into big pots. Jet Fuel Clone (was the damaged one) Special Crystal Haze (... is essentially Super Silver Haze) Special Crystal Haze Jet Fuel Clone Jet Fuel Clone Special Crystal Haze All in all there's now 8 plants. I haven't yet decided how many plants to flower, depends on how big they get over next couple of weeks.
