  3. It is a fanstatic idea and someone has to start. Unfortunately until such time as the govenment has put something on paper, this is going to be risky. Not that anyone is doing anything wrong, but the police don't care and will go out of their way to make things difficult. With Fields of Green's new Stop the Cops innitiative, this might be the fight they are looking for to make the cops follow the law as they are suppose to uphold. Hopefully trade in cannabis will be legal soon and clubs/coffee shops can be open about it like in the Netherlands, but only time will tell.

  4. I think it will be a risky business. Remember you are putting dealers out of business. Their will be lash out from them. Make sure you have good security to start with. Once the legal trade is in full swing these will be as common as bars. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  5. I must say i love all of FOGFAs initiatives and what they stand for - i believe that clubs (with very good security) will be the way to go in this legal limbo period provided we can settle some sort of paperwork or recorded agreement that authorities understand the operations of the establishment and agree to leave us alone , and even beyond legal regulation, as has been mentioned, the clubs would just gain in popularity and end up as similar to a "bar" for the cannabis community I also think that having alot of small , closely grouped private clubs could benefit in raising the awareness and breaking the stereotype we are all trying so hard to by showing whoever needs proof that we can peacefully assemble without any harm or damage to people and property as well as the fact that information can be provided in return from clubs to writers of legislature as guidelines as to what does and doesnt work a wise man once said all it takes is one brave soul

  6. Had similar issues with PM, tried the fat free milk / water spray method, but PM is systemic apparently so milk will only get you so far... Ended up getting some AQ SF Liquid from Jamie's Garden Shop in Somerset West, a parasitic fungicide that 'eats' Powdery Mildew and is apparently fine using throughout flower. Maybe something to look into...

  7. I am all for clubs. I think it would be different for each town/police station. I just think we should be careful what we do. If you are not willing to go to jail or fight a long battle in court don't do it. If you go to the police and the public prosecutor and they are on you side/will not prosecute by all means go ahead. 8. As far as I understand what you are trying to do is gradually increase the nutrient dosage to get to the final result. You typically would not want to go higher than the maximum recommended EC or ml depending what you are measuring as that would cause nutrient burn. So I think you have two options 1) Start with the initial recommended dose, and then each week increase it a little so that by the end of the grow you are at the maximum recommended value 2) Start with the initial recommended dose, follow their schedule and then keep it at the maximum once you get there even if that is for a few more weeks. Perhaps one of the more experienced growers could say which is better (I'm guessing option 2). But whatever you do you'll need to watch the plan to see if there are any signs of burn or deficiency. I hope that helps

  10. dehumidifier-meaco-12l-low-energy This is the one I have. It is only 165w and you can connect a pipe so that you don't have to empty the container all the time.it is not the cheapest but paying a bit more upfront saves on the bills later. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  12. I will always top, seems like an awesome thing to do. I've done it once with my one plant and left the other one to just grow out. The one which was topped did way better. More exposure to sunlight for the buds, more buds, etc.

  13. My friend swears by this stuff now, and his results show it works. I might grab some just to do a control test, 1 - Green house powder feed, 1 - Bio (fish/bloom), 1 Horitmix.

  14. I saw this at Brights the other day, did not buy it but could work nicely in conjunction with a low power heater: https://www.brights.co.za/plug-in-electronic-thermostat-1/ Like I said, never used it... I bought a heater and digital timer and running the heater for 30 min every 2 hours from 7PM to 9AM. My grow area is very cold...

  16. @CheapHomeGrow I'm pretty new to it, so others here can probably answer with more detail. What I'd say that we are in a slightly weird position as the courts ruled a few months back that growing cannabis for "personal use" is legal. The government now needs to amend the laws to define what precisely that means. So we are currently legally allowed to grow cannabis but not buy or sell anything. I think selling seeds is a grey area. The big problem is that the deciding if it is for personal use or not seems to be up the police's discretion, i.e. they can arrest you and then the court can throw the case out. We've seen some ridiculous arrests recently, e.g. anything grow indoors with lights is called a "drugs lab", or pictures of them weighing the leaves and talking about the street value as if that is what is sold Despite this I'd say that growing is going quite well. There are a number of specialist shops already and there seems to be a general change in public opinion. There are also some comercial grows starting up so I guess that is sometime too. I'm pretty sure most of us hobby growers will continue growing whatever and hopefully the police start backing off.

  18. You can build a ceramic heater array, depending on the size of your grow room. Wire them up and then control them via a thermostat. - No exposed bars, no fans, no extra light (can run in day an night). Only downside is if you have a big grow area you're going to fork out some cash for tthem as they get expensive. https://reptilecity.co.za/product/exo-terra-heat-wave-lamp-ceramic-heat-emitter-60-watt/

  19. From what I've read either add more lights, change the type of lights or add a heater. I personally will be adding a heater, probably with an Arduino & temp sensor to help maintain a certain temperature. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  20. Choose 1 or a combination of the following: 1. Flower your plants later to avoid the rain rotting up your dense flowers. 2. Use local sativa genetics. The flowers are less dense allowing air to flow through the bud after rain. 3. Flower under a greenhouse cover so that no rain comes into contact with the flower. SIMPLE.
